Squeeze & Tease 3D/WARP Board Mounting Location
Removing or Installing the Squeeze & Tease 3D Board
Use the following procedure to remove or install the optional Squeeze & Tease 3D/WARP Board :
1. Power down the Synergy 1 frame.
2. Carefully remove the Frame Processor Board from the frame, and set it on a clean, flat,
static free surface.
3. To remove an existing Squeeze & Tease 2D Board :
• Locate the Squeeze & Tease Board that you wish to remove.
• Loosen and remove the mounting screws from the holes and set them aside in a safe
place.
• While applying upward pressure, slowly rock each connector out of its socket,
being careful to avoid flexing the board too much – so as not to bend the pins.
• Set the board aside on a clean, flat, static-free surface.
Caution Static discharge can cause serious damage to sensitive semiconductor
devices.
Avoid handling the Squeeze & Tease 3D / WARP Board in high static
environments such as carpeted areas and when synthetic fiber clothing
is worn. Touch the rack frame to dissipate static charge before
removing boards from the frame and exercise proper grounding
precautions when working on the
Squeeze & Tease 3D / WARP
