Lower Control Panel Section
The Lower Control Panel Section includes the following components:

— This component includes all crosspoint bus and Aux Bus switches.

4216A-034
— This component includes buttons, switches and potentiometers in the
Key 1 , Key 2, Custom Control , and Global Memory System areas. Also included are
the function switches, such as
F1
and
F2
, that surround the large display, plus a power
module (attached to the top side of the board) that provides power to the display’s
backlight.

— This component includes buttons, switches, and potentiometers in the
Mattes , Effects Control , Positioner , Transition , DSK , and Fade to Black areas.
Upper Control Panel Section
The Upper Control Panel Section includes the following components:
• 4216A-036 — This component includes buttons, switches and potentiometers in the
Pattern Control group, A-D converters for all knobs, faders and joystick, plus the
FPGA that decodes the optical potentiometers beside the large display.
