6. Squeeze & Tease Board Connectors
Three connectors are provided for the optional Squeeze & Tease 2D Board
(4000A-048) or Squeeze & Tease 3D/WARP Board (4000A-148).
7. Crosspoint Section
The Crosspoint Section includes five chips that provide the 16 x 16 input/output matrix.
8. Input Equalizer Section
The Input Equalizer Section includes equalizer circuits for each of the sixteen inputs of
the Synergy switcher.
9. Option Socket
The Frame Processor Board contains one Option Socket . This socket includes three
connectors and associated standoffs, which mate with the option boards.
The Option Socket accepts two different option boards that provide various video
processing functions. These two boards are the Ultimatte™ Insider and the Dual
Aspectizer (4000A-050). Refer to the section “
Ultimatte Insider™ Board ” on
page 4–20 for details on the Ultimatte Insider Board. For information on the Dual
Aspectizer, refer to the section “
Dual Aspectizer Board Installation – Synergy 1 ” on
page 4–23.
10. Output Drivers
There are a total of thirteen Output Driver chips installed. There is one for each of the
ten Aux Buses, and one each for the Program, Preview, and Clean Feed.
11. Dual Border Generator Board Connectors
Two connectors are provided for the optional Dual Border Generator Board
(4000A-049). Refer to the section “ Dual (Floating) Border Generator ” on page 4–18
for details.
Note Only two of the three connectors are used to mate with the
Ultimatte™ Insider Board .
