MC1-PANEL-16 User Guide (v4.0)
To specify the number of available crosspoints
1. Locate the MC1-MK card in the
Tree View
.
2. Select the
Configuration
node to display the Configuration interface for that card.
3. Select the
Config
tab.
4. Select the
Personality
tab.
5. Use the
Number of Crosspoint Buttons
slider to specify:
• the number of crosspoint buttons to display in the Active Channel On Air Control interface, and
• the number of active crosspoint buttons on the MC1-PANEL-16 chassis. Buttons that are unavailable are
unlit on the physical panel.
Displaying the On Air Control Interface
You can choose whether to display the entire On Air Control interface or the upper portion of the interface on a
DashBoard client computer when the MC1-PANEL-16 is connected.
To specify how to display the On Air Control interface
1. Locate the MC1-MK card in the
Tree View
.
2. Select the
Configuration
node to display the Configuration interface for that card.
3. Select the
Config
tab.
4. Select the
Personality
tab.
5. From the
Crosspoints & Keyers
options in the
On Air Control
area, select how much of the interface to
display in DashBoard. You may need to scroll to the bottom of the tab to access these options.
Disabling the Fade to Black Button
You can disable the functionality of the Fade to Black (
FTB
) button on both the On Air Control interfaces and the
physical button on the MC1-PANEL-16 chassis. Once disabled, pressing the button has no effect.
Ensure that
FTB
is not selected or in use before disabling its function. Disabling the button while it is selected
(active) locks the on-air output to black.
