4.1.11 HART Input

Hart Slaves are connected to Analog input 1. Connection to HART 
devices requires a Multi Field Communication Card equipped with 
optional HART modem.

A maximum of 3 Hart slaves can be connected to the Rex gauge in 

multidrop configuration. 

If only on HART slave is connected, and the short address = 0, current 
mode is supported.

With three HART slaves connected, short address 1-3 must be used and 
the slave current is parked at 4 mA.

The 250 



resistance is needed for HART-communication only.
