OPERATION
Other Display Segments.
1.
Alarm Annunciator fields. Shows if Alarm is active.

Error Annunciator field. Shows if there is an error
message available.
3.
Function (F) keys (F1, F2, F3, F4). Messages
determined by the currently active segment of the
operation program define current function of key.
4.
Reverse Video which highlights the active area of
the display that can be changed.
2.3 DEDICATED KEYPADS FUNCTIONS
The four dedicated keypads always serve the same
function.
Scrolls the reverse video segment up through
the options on the display.
Scrolls the reverse video segment down
through the options on the display.
Scrolls the flashing segment across the digits in
a number.
Sets up edited parameter to be saved to
memory,
OR,
directs program to the selected
program segment.
2.4 FUNCTION KEY MESSAGE DESCRIPTION
Messages appear at the bottom of the display screen to
define the function of the F keypads (F1, F2, F3, F4) just
below the screen. Explanation of their functions follows.
ADJ
Adjust. Used to adjust the output current, or
voltage to match full scale requirements.
PREV
PREVIOUS. Returns to the previous display.
DISP
DISPLAY. Only available from the Process
Display program. Cycles the secondary display
area through all sensor measurements. i.e.
Sensor 1 COND, TEMP: Sensor 2 pH, TEMP:
etc.
ERR
ERROR. Field flashes when there is an error
message. Press software key (F3) below
message to display, in plain text, error
messages.
EXIT
EXIT. While in the menu mode returns the
display to the Main menu display.
When on the Main menu display returns the
display to Process display.
Erases any changes not accepted by hitting the
enter key.
MENU
MENU. Displays the M
AIN
M
ENU
. Changes the
analyzer to the menu operating mode.
MORE
MORE. Used to show additional items in a list
that is too long to be seen on one screen.
NEXT
NEXT. Moves reverse video backlight (active
area) to the next changeable field on the
display.
REDO
RE DO. Used to clear assigned addresses and
return to previous display to enter new sensor
addresses.
RST
RESET. Available only during Calibration. Used
to reset the analyzer to its factory settings. That
is, if calibration is in progress (“Star t
Calibration”), the procedure may be aborted by
pressing RST.
NOTES
When the Menu mode of operation is
entered, the analyzer outputs will be held
steady at the last reading displayed.
Upon leaving the Menu mode, the analyz-
er immediately recalculates the outputs
using the new data parameters. A
process upset can occur if the analyzer
outputs are being used to drive another
control device.
The analyzer will default to the regular
Process measurement display 5 minutes
after the last key press.
Changes made while in the Menu Mode
will be saved to memory when the timeout
function is activated.
