Video Modes
The PiP, Win and Test Pattern Video Modes are described in detail in this section. A description of the different
video modes can be found in the
Selectable Display Modes
section in the
Introduction
to this manual.
PiP Video Mode
This section describes the PiP Video Mode.

The PiP size, zoom factor, position and display mode can be set in the
PiP
window.
PiP display mode
The
triple
option shows 3 additional screens in PiP mode, while
single
shows only one other screen. When
single
is chosen, use the
PiP channel
option to define which channel is to be displayed in the window.
PiP size
This field gives the option to specify the size of the PiP window as a percentage of half the overall screen size.
Twelve sizes are available for
single PiP display mode
, and nine sizes are available for the
triple PiP display
mode
, as shown below.
Single PiP display mode: 3%, 5%, 7%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 28%, 33%, 38%, 44%, 50%
Triple PiP display mode: 3%, 5%, 7%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 28%, 33%
Note:
The size of one quad screen is 50% (one quarter of a full screen).
PiP zoom factor
Use this option to zoom the center of the PiP images by a factor of two.
Offset from top
Use this option to change the position of the PiP images. PiP images can be moved vertically along the
screen’s right hand border.

All PiP settings are also accessible from the Hotmouse menu.
