DCP Synchronize
Use this mode to keep several QuadraVista QF units in the same state.
Every change in settings initiated in the first unit through hotkeys, hotmouse, front panel buttons or a
controlling device synchronizes the states of all connected devices through DCP messages.
Special Y-cables are needed for synchronization.

Important Note:
Every time a QuadraVista QF that has been set to
synchronize
is restarted, it will send all its settings to the
next connected device. This also happens when
DCP mode
is set to
synchronize
in the OSD.
When powering up a chain of units, always start with the unit at the end of the chain. When the unit has
completed its startup phase and sent its DCP messages, power up the next unit in the chain. Proceed in this
manner, moving up the chain until the first unit in the chain, which will synchronize the settings of all the other
units in the chain with its own settings when it starts up.
This is seen in the example setup shown. In this setup, QuadraVista QF units 2 and 3 are synchronized with
unit 1.
