PT and CT. When
a CT rated as
100/5 is used and the current of 50A flows in the primary, the metering part indicates 50A and the
protection part indicates 2.5A. It
is because the tap setting of each relay element is based on the secondary
rating. This makes it easy to compare and analyze the set value and the
measured
value.
