Three-phase Power Measurement
Accura 3300E supports two methods for calculation of reactive [Qt] and apparent power[St] for
three phase sum.
(1)
Vector Sum: Total apparent power is calculated based on vector sum of three phase
apparent power.
(2)
Arithmetic Sum: Total apparent power is calculated based on arithmetic sum of three phase
apparent power.
Total apparent and reactive power can vary according to the calculation methods of total apparent
power of three phase. As total apparent power can vary, total power factor can vary also.
Vector Sum
Calculates total active power, reactive power and apparent power by vector sum of three phase
power vectors.
Adds active power for each phase.
