Disconnect Switch
The m aster disconnect solenoid will carry 110 am ps of continuous load. Som e vehicles’ alternators are capable of producing a
higher am perage output. In m ost vehicles this will happen only for a very short period of tim e and will not affect this product.
Receiver m ounting
The receiver “m ust” be m ounted “inside” the vehicle to avoid m oisture from entering the unit. Use the sm all m ounting tabs located on
the side of the unit or double sided tape to m ount the unit.

Solenoid m ounting
The electric m aster disconnect solenoid should be m ounted as close as possible to the path of the
positive battery cable running betw een the battery and starter solenoid.
The disconnect solenoid is W ATER RESISTANT
not
W ATER PROOF. For this reason, w hen m ounting
the solenoid, choose a location carefully to lim it exposure as m uch as possible. The solenoid m ust be
m ounted w ith the black solenoid internal shaft cover facing dow n.
NOTE: Running from one of the “sm all” w ire studs on the solenoid is a short black jum per w ire. This
w ire as w ell as the solenoid itself m ust be connected/m ounted to a GOOD GROUND source. Failure to
do so w ill prevent the unit from operating.
Receiver w iring
The receiver is prewired. Connect the BLACK wire to a good ground. Connect the two halves of the two way connector with red and
brown wires together. Connect the RED wire to hot all the tim e (battery feed) “fused” 10 am p power source. Connect the BROW N
wire to the other sm all “em pty” term inal on the solenoid
NOTE:
The receiver will draw approxim ately 10.5 nA (nano am ps) in
stand by m ode.
