GROUP 1-8
In the JX-10 version these buttons will
select Group 1 to Group 8 Patches under
normal play mode. The Patch will
immediately load.
When writing a Patch or Library Tone
these buttons will select the Group 1-8
that the Patch or Tone will be stored
under. The Patch is not written to memory
until the Patch Number Pad Enter Button
(JX-10) or ENTER button (MKS-70) is
pressed. This allows a Patch to be written
(or moved) to any position in memory.
Each Group has 64 Patches (8 Banks x 8
Patches) and there are 8 Groups making
a total of 512 Patches in total.
When the Kiwi-SJX is in Tone Edit
Mode These buttons will select the
current Tone Group (1-8) for Loading
or Saving.
During Parameter Editing these
buttons will select the G1 to G4 parts
of the parameter number.
In the MKS-70 version of the upgrade
the groups are accessed by pressing
SHIFT followed by BANK.
BANK 1
Edit Letter “-” (JX-10)
This button will select Bank 1 Patches
under normal play mode. The Patch will
immediately load. Each Bank # has 8
Patches which are selected using the
Patch Number Pad buttons
When writing a Patch these buttons will
select the Bank that the Patch will be
stored under. The Patch is not written to
memory until the Patch Number Pad
ENTER Button is pressed. This allows a
Patch to be written (or moved) to any
position in memory.
When the Kiwi-SJX is in Tone Edit
Mode This buttons will select the
current Tone Bank 1 for Loading or
Saving.
In the JX-10 version during Seq
Editing this button will insert a Rest.

In the JX-10 only during Name Editing
this button will select the “-” (Minus)
character.
BANK 2
Edit Letter “*” (JX-10)
This button will select Bank 2 Patches
under normal play mode. The Patch will
immediately load. Each Bank # has 8
Patches which are selected using the
Patch Number Pad buttons
When writing a Patch these buttons will
select the Bank that the Patch will be
stored under. The Patch is not written to
memory until the Patch Number Pad
ENTER Button is pressed. This allows a
Patch to be written (or moved) to any
position in memory.
When the Kiwi-SJX is in Tone Edit
Mode This buttons will select the
current Tone Bank 2 for Loading or
Saving.
