Changing the Screen Settings
Some karaoke Music Files show lyrics on screen. You can
hide the on-screen lyrics displayed by such music files. With
the KF-90, you can also change the language and vary the
contrast of the screen.
1.
Press the [Function] button.
The Function screen appears.

Touch <System Setting>.
3.
Touch <Display/Language>.
If <Display/Language> is not displayed, touch Page

> to switch screens.

Hiding the On-screen Lyrics
* This setting is enabled only when playing back music files that
include the lyrics.

Touch <Lyric>
to choose the setting.
Indication
Description
On
Lyrics are displayed (when performance data
containing lyrics is played back).
Off
Lyrics are not displayed.

Changing the Language
1.
Use <Language>
to choose the language.
Indication:
English, Japanese

Adjusting the Contrast of the
Screen
1.
Touch <Contrast>
to adjust the contrast
of the screen.
You can adjust the contrast level along a ten-stage range.
The higher the value set, the brighter it is displayed.
Changing the Screen Message
When the Power Is Turned On
(Opening Message)
You can select the words and other messages you want to
have displayed on the KF-90’s screen when the power is
turned on.

Press the [Function] button.
The Function screen appears.

Touch <System Setting>.
3.
Touch <Opening Message>.
If <Opening Message> is not displayed, touch Page

> and <
> to switch screens.

Use
to scroll the cursor, and
enter the message by using Value [-] [+] button or
the dial to choose the letters.
Touch <A-a-0-!> at the bottom of the screen to change
the type of script.
Touching <_> inserts a blank space at the cursor
location.
5.
When you’re done entering the text, touch
<Execute>.
Touch <Exit> to go back to the Function screen.
* Never switch off the power while this operation is in progress.
Doing so can damage the internal memory, making it
impossible to use this instrument.

If you touch <All Clear> at the bottom of the screen, followed
by <Execute>, the piano will revert to using its original
opening message.
