Intializing—Restoring Factory 
Settings 

Use the following procedure to clear the internal 
memory and reload the factory settings: 

Caution:

 All USER information will be lost. Be sure to 

back up any information you wish to keep. 

1.  Press the FUNCTION button (located to the left 

of the cursor buttons.) 

2.  Use the cursor [

] buttons to locate 

FACTORY RESET on the screen, then press the 
ENTER button (located to the right of the cursor 
buttons.) 

3.  When “All the factory settings will be restored” 

appears on the screen, press the cursor [

button until EXECUTE is highlighted on the 
screen, then press the ENTER button. 

4.  When “Turn the power off, then on again” 

appears on the screen, turn the power off and 
then on to complete the factory reset.

Selecting Tones 

Use the following procedure to select a tone: 

1.  Press a tone button (e.g. Piano, E.Piano, Organ, 

etc.) in the TONE section (located to the left of 
the cursor buttons.) 

2.  Use the cursor [

] buttons to locate a 

tone on the screen. 

 

3.  Press the EXIT button (located to the right of the 

cursor buttons.)

Selecting Dual Tones 

Use the following procedure to select dual tones: 

1.  Simultaneously press two tone buttons (e.g. 

Piano + Strings, E.Piano + Voice, etc.) in the 
TONE section (located to the left of the cursor 
buttons.) 

2.  Use the cursor [

] buttons to select TONE 2. 

3.  Press the cursor [

] button until TONE 1 is 

highlighted on the screen.

] buttons to select TONE 1. 

5.  Press the cursor [

] button until DUAL 

BALANCE is highlighted on the screen.

] buttons to adjust the 

volume balance between TONE 1 and TONE 2. 

7.  Press the EXIT button  (located to the right of the 

cursor buttons.)

Selecting Split Tones 

Use the following procedure to select split tones: 

1.  Select a right-hand tone as described under 

“Selecting Tones” or “Selecting Dual Tones.” 

2.  Press the SPLIT button (located to the left of the 

cursor buttons.) 

3.  Use the cursor [

] buttons to select a LEFT-

HAND TONE. 

4.  Press the EXIT button. 
5.  Press the cursor [

] button until SPLIT POINT is 

highlighted on the screen. 

6.  Use the cursor [

] buttons to change the 

note at which the LEFT-HAND TONE becomes 
the RIGHT-HAND TONE. 

7.  Press the EXIT button (located to the right of the 

cursor buttons.)
