3. Volume Check
Working in the sequence shown below, change the settings of the
controls from minimum to intermediate and to maximum and vice versa,
and verify that the LEDs light up and the speaker plays sound.
* Operation out of sequence is ignored.
1. GUITAR CHANNEL BASS
2. GUITAR CHANNEL MIDDLE
3. GUITAR CHANNEL TREBLE
4. GUITAR CHANNEL REVERB
5. MASTER
6. MIC/LINE CHANNEL REVERB
7. MIC/LINE CHANNEL TREBLE
8. MIC/LINE CHANNEL MIDDLE
9. MIC/LINE CHANNEL BASS
o: lights, *: flashes, -: goes off
The volume level of the speaker sound increases as the control is
operated toward the maximum position, and from the intermediate
position, the pitch rises.
When all volume testing has been completed, the
POWER
LED flashes
slowly.
Switch off the power.
This ends the Test Mode.

Procedure
1.
Switch on the power and start the unit in the normal usage state.
2.
Make the following settings on the main unit.
Speaker Output Verification
1.
Connect a 4
Ω
load resistor to the speaker lines.
2.
Connect the signal generator to the
MIC/LINE CHANNEL INPUT
jack and
input the following signal.
1-kHz sine wave at -43.0 dBm
3.
Verify that signals like the following are output from the speaker lines.
SP OUT L: +19.0±1.5 dBm
SP OUT R: +19.0±1.5 dBm
4.
Connect the signal generator to the
AUX IN STEREO
jack and input the
following signal to the L channel.
1-kHz sine wave at -30.8 dBm
5.
Verify that signals like the following are output from the speaker lines.
SP OUT L: +19.0±1.5 dBm
SP OUT R: +19.0±1.5 dBm
6.
Input the following signal to the R channel of the
AUX IN STEREO
jack.
1-kHz sine wave at -30.8 dBm
7.
Verify that signals like the following are output from the speaker lines.
SP OUT L: +19.0±1.5 dBm
SP OUT R: +19.0±1.5 dBm
8.
Connect the signal generator to the
GUITAR CHANNEL INPUT
jack and
input the following signal.
1-kHz sine wave at -19.2 dBm
9.
Verify that signals like the following are output from the speaker lines.
SP OUT L: +19.0±1.5 dBm
SP OUT R: +19.0±1.5 dBm
LINE OUT Verification
1.
Connect a 1/4-inch phone plug with a 47-k
Ω
load resistor to the
LINE
OUT L/MONO
and
R
jacks.
2.
Connect the signal generator to the
GUITAR CHANNEL INPUT
jack and
input the following signal.
1-kHz sine wave at -3.6 dBm
3.
Verify that signals like the following are output from the
LINE OUT L
and
R
jacks.
LINE OUT L: +3.0±1.5 dBm
LINE OUT R: +3.0±1.5 dBm
Headphones Output Verification
1.
Connect a stereo miniature phone plug with a 100
Ω
load resistor to the
PHONES
jack.
2.
Connect the signal generator to the
GUITAR CHANNEL INPUT
jack and
input the following signal.
1-kHz sine wave at -23.5 dBm
3.
Verify that signals like the following are output from the
PHONES
jack.

+4.9±1.5 dBm
