Your Crossbars come pre-assembled.

Ensure that the roof side rails
are clean and free from dust
and grease.
Straps are to be extended to
allow easy mounting of the
Crossbars. (Fig 1)
Place the Crossbars onto the
vehicle’s roof side rails (note,
ensure alignment with
Mounting Bracket). Gradually
tighten bolts alternating sides
with the security wrench
ensuring straps are properly
engaged and even tension (20
inch lbs or 2.5 Nm Maximum
torque) is achieved. (Fig 3 a, b)
There may be the need to
guide the strap into position.
Reverse procedure to remove.
It is advisable to leave the
Mounting Brackets on the
vehicle for quick installing and
removal of cross bars.
Crossbar’s locking end caps may be removed to access the
accessory T-slot channel. (Fig 4)
Service buffer strips may be purchased should the buffers need
to be cut around accessories.

REGULARLY CHECK THE TIGHTNESS OF LOCKING STRAPS.
Loads should be evenly distributed and secured
.
Check the function of all doors and sunroof before driving
.
Any weight carried on the vehicle will adversely affect its handling particularly in cornering or in a cross wind and the vehicle should
therefore be driven with increased caution.

Please have lock core number or part numbers available.
Only use NON-STRETCH tie down straps.
A number of accessories for carrying special loads are available.
Ensure bars are parallel and straps are tightened against
the side rails. Perform a check by tugging on the Crossbars.
NOTICE: Crossbars can cause wind noise. Remove Crossbars when not in use.

Remove the Mounting Hole Plugs.
Place in safe place to reuse them if
Mounting Brackets are removed. Install
Mounting Bracket in orientation shown
using Flat Washers, Star Washers and
Bolts. Tighten securely (25 Inch lbs or 3
Nm torque) (Fig 2)
