2. USE
2.1. Operation
Filling.
Once the heater has been installed, open the stop cock. Then open the hot water
taps. When the water begins to come out of them the heater is full. Close the taps and check
thoroughly that there are no leaks in the installation. Do not connect the heater to the mains
supply before ensuring that it is full of water.
Electrical connection.
Plug in the heater, switch on and leave the appliance connected to the
electricity supply. Once a certain amount of hot water has been used, the thermostat switches
the heating element back on.
Draining.
In prolonged periods without use, and if there is risk of frosts in the premises where
it is installed, the heater must be drained. It is possible to do this using the safety valve.
In all cases:
• Cut the current
• Close the tap where water enters the Installation.
• Drain through the safety group using the lever.
