If "Zoom Stimulus" is activated, then selecting a rectangular portion of the active trace
will trigger the following actions:
●
the stimulus start and stop is adjusted to the left and right edges of the selected
rectangle
●
the vertical diagram scaling is adjusted to the upper and lower edges of the
selected rectangle
To magnify a particular diagram area without modifying the stimulus or the diagram
scaling, use the zoom function (see
5.8.2 Power Tab
Allows to define the power of the internal signal source in the active channel. The avail-
able settings depend on the selected sweep type.

Most of the "Power" settings are also available in the "Stimulus" tab. Refer to the fol-
lowing sections:

RF Off All Channels
"RF Off All Channels" switches the internal power source for all channels off (if
checked) or on. Switching off the RF power helps to prevent overheating of a connec-
ted DUT while no measurement results are taken.
Tip:
Switching off the internal RF sources while an external generator is used can
improve the measurement accuracy. "RF Off All Channels" also deactivates external
generators, so you have to use the settings in the "Arb Frequency" tab of the
(with option R&S
ZNB/ZNBT-K4).
