Example: Creating a Repository
For every repository one
.repo
file must be created. The following example
shows the creation of a local repository (.rpms).
Perform the following steps:

4. Enter the description of the configuration into the file:

Preparations
Perform the following steps:
/etc/yum.repos.d/
touch ganesha_rpms.repo
[ganesha_rpms]
name=ganesha_rpms
baseurl=file:///<path to repository>
enabled=1
gpgcheck=0
If you are unfamiliar with these settings, contact your system administrator.
Note that creating a new user, requires a current account with administrator
rights.
