[:SOURce<hw>]:POWer:ATTenuation:RFOFf:MODE
<Mode>
The command selects the mode of the mechanical attenuator, when the RF signal is
switched off.
The setting of the RF OFF mode is not affected by an instrument preset (PRESET
key),
*RST
and the "Save/Recall" function. This parameter is influenced only by the
Parameters:
<Mode>
NORMal | ATTenuated
NORMal
The current attenuation remains when the RF signal is switched
off and thus provides fast and wear-free operation.
ATTenuated
The attenuation is set to maximum when the RF signal is
switched off. This setting is recommended for applications that
require a high level of noise suppression.
*RST:
NORMal
Example:
SOUR:POW:ATT:RFOF:MODE ATT
sets the RF OFF attenuator to maximum.
Options:
R&S SMF-B26 or R&S SMF-B27
Manual operation:
See
" RF OFF Mode - Attenuation Settings "
[:SOURce]:POWer:ATTenuation
<Attenuation>
Sets the attenuation.
Parameters:
<Attenuation>
integer
Range:
0 to 110
Increment: 10
*RST:
0
Example:
SOUR:POW:ATT 20dB
sets the power attenuation to 20 dB.
Manual operation:
See
" Attenuation – Attenuation Settings "
[:SOURce<hw>]:POWer:EMF:STATe
<State>
Displays the signal level as voltage of the EMF. The displayed value represents the
voltage over a 50 Ohm load.
Parameters:
<State>
0 | 1 | OFF | ON
*RST:
0
Example:
POW:EMF:STAT 1
activates voltage level display.
