It is up to the different calculation methods:

the remote control command determines the number of steps.
●
in the dialog, the instrument displays the number of transitions according to:
Count = ( f
STOP

STARt
) / step_log
Since
Count
is an integer the result may be rounded.
Parameters:

Example:
LFO:SWE:VOLT:POINts 25
sets the number of sweep steps to 25.

<State>
Activates that the signal changes to the start level value while it is waiting for the next
trigger event.
You can enable this feature, when you are working with sawtooth shapes in sweep
mode "Single" or "External Single".
Parameters:
