FFT Mode
The time alignment between subsequent FFT acquisition periods can be set. Available
for FFT and all FFT-based measurement functions. Requires R&S UPP-K602 option
(Overlapping FFT Analysis).
"Normal" A continuously running FFT has gaps in between the acquisition peri-
ods. Same behavior as without R&S UPP-K602 option.
"Gapless" The FFT acquisitions are recorded gaplessly.
"Overlapping" The acquisition periods overlap (50 % in the following example).
If "Overlapping" is selected, an input field for the size of the overlap
(in percent) is indicated ("Overlap Factor").
The overlap mode is especially useful when short glitches are to be
detected.

Avg Mode
Used to activate the averaging function and select the averaging method.
When averaging is activated, an additional parameter field appears in which the aver-
age count can be specified.
Note: The energy of the individual bins is averaged, not their levels. This is necessary
so that the displayed RMS value, which is computed by integration over all bins (of the
averaged FFT), can be correctly determined.
"OFF" No averaging; each FFT analysis result is displayed immediately and
is independent of previous analyses.
