Impedance
From serial numbers 120100, 140100, 180100 and higher, an output impedance of
either 25
Ω
or 600
Ω
can be set in this field (previously, the impedance was perma-
nently set at 25
Ω
).
If the eight-channel generator is used, the output impedance of the generator outputs
is set permanently to 25
Ω
.

Bandwidth
When you choose the universal generator you can set three different fixed frequency
ranges and one signal-dependent sampling frequency.
"22 kHz" The maximum output frequency is 21.75 kHz. The generator DAC is
clocked at 48 kHz.
"40 kHz" The maximum output frequency is 40 kHz. The generator DAC is
clocked at 96 kHz.
"80 kHz" The maximum output frequency is 80 kHz. The generator DAC is
clocked at 192 kHz.
"Play Auto" For the Play generator function only. The bandwidth is automatically
determined as a function of the sample rate entered in the WAV file.
This sample rate is likewise used for clocking the generator DAC.

Volt Range
Two different modes are available for generator level control.
"Auto" The internal signal paths are optimally driven; the output voltage is
adjusted using the analog hardware.
Advantage:
Optimum noise and distortion values.
