Considerations on measurement accuracy
To know the measurement accuracy of a, e.g. capacitance measurement, the accuracy
and characteristics of the instrument are essential.
An R&S
LCX LCR meter measures the impedance (Z) and phase (
Θ
), and derives the
results of the also provided measurement parameters. The accuracy of a determined
parameter therefore refers to the accuracy of these measured parameters.
During a measurement, the R&S
LCX displays the accuracy of (Z) and (
Θ
) at the cur-
on the screen.
If you need to know the accuracy outside a running measurement or for a secondary
measurement parameter, you can calculate the accuracy individually.
