R&S FSP Remote Control – Description of Commands
MMEMory Subsystem
MMEMory:MSIS <device>
This command changes to the drive indicated. The drive may be the internal hard disk “D:”, a memory
stick or the floppy disk drive “A:”.
Example:
"MMEM:MSIS 'D:'"
Characteristics: *RST value: "D:'
SCPI: conform
Mode: A
MMEMory:NAME <file_name>
This command defines a destination file for the printout started with the command
HCOPy:
IMMediate
. In this case the printer output must be routed to destination FILE using the command
"
HCOP:DEST 'MMEM'
".
The file name includes indication of the path and may also include the drive name. The file name and
path information comply with DOS conventions.
Parameter: <file_name> ::= DOS file name
Example:
"HCOP:DEV:LANG BMP"
'Selection of data format.
"HCOP:DEST 'MMEM'"
'Selection of the output device
"MMEM:NAME 'PRINT1.BMP'"
'Selection of file name.
"HCOP:IMM"
'Start of the printout.

This command is an event and therefore has no *RST value and no query.
MMEMory:RDIRectory <directory_name>
This command deletes the indicated directory. The directory name includes indication of the path and
may also include the drive name. The path name complies with DOS conventions.
Parameter: <directory_name>::= DOS path name
Example:
"MMEM:RDIR 'D:\TEST'"
Characteristics: *RST value: -
SCPI: device-specific
Mode: A
This command is an event and therefore has no *RST value and no query.
