7.2.13 ARB

The "ARB Sources" section displays all fields that are relevant for loading a waveform
file in the waveform memory of the R&S

 

EX-IQ-BOX.

Instead of a signal generator as signal source, the R&S

 

EX-IQ-BOX creates the signal

from a waveform file and embeds it in the CPRI protocol. The ARB functionality applies
to the transmission mode, when the R&S

 

EX-IQ-BOX is sending to the DUT, that means

in CPRI RE test mode, the R&S

 

EX-IQ-BOX sends in the downlink, and in CPRI REC

test mode in the uplink.

Conversely, for operating in receiver mode, the R&S

 

EX-IQ-BOX provides a recording

memory. The signal data, coming from the DUT can be recorded over a period of time
and then saved in a file, see

Waveform Memory and Recording Memory require that the R&S

 

EX-IQ-BOX is equipped
