The keys to the right of the display select views and control the measurements and win-
dows. See also
.
The keys above the numeric key pad provide access to the following dialogs and views:

. Use this dialog to select the device
type (one or two sub-instruments) and to change the active sub-instrument.
●
MEASURE – opens the
. Use this dialog to load mea-
surement firmware applications.
●
FAVORITE – for future extensions
●
BLOCK VIEW – opens the
. Use this dialog to get an overview of
the signal routing settings of all active firmware applications or to reconfigure these
settings.
●
Generator/Signaling Controller Dialog
. Use this dialog to
load generator and signaling firmware applications.
●
WIZARD – for future extensions
The keys above the rotary knob control measurements, generators, signaling applica-
tions, and control elements in dialogs.
●
ON/OFF – starts a measurement from the OFF state or aborts a running measure-
ment; see
. ON/OFF also switches generators or signaling
generators on or off (see
) and selects/clears checkboxes in dialogs
(toggle function).
●
RESTART / STOP – re-starts a measurement in the RDY state or stops a running
measurement.
●
ESC – terminates the current stage of a session, e.g. by closing a dialog.
●
CONTEXT – for future extensions.
The keys below the numeric key pad arrange different windows on the display.

CLOSE – closes the active window, e.g. a configuration dialog.
●
MIN – reduces the active window to an icon.
