3.5.3 AF Measurement Results
The "AF Results" characterize the properties of the demodulated audio signal. The
results for the left (L) and right (R) audio channels are analogous; refer to the descrip-
tion of the FM baseband spectrum in section

The "SNR Statistics" table contains the following results:

Weighted, RMS:
Frequency deviation due to the left / right audio channel mea-
sured in the weighting filter path, RMS average over an appropriate time interval
(moving average).

Bandpass, RMS:
Frequency deviation due to the left / right audio channel mea-
sured in the bandpass path, RMS average.
●
THD:
Total Harmonic Distortion; see description below. The percentage and dB
results are equivalent.
●
THD + N:
Total harmonic distortion and noise; see description below.
