Make sure the active carriers don't overlap, i.e. their center frequencies have to be
separated by at least CDMA system bandwidth (1.23 MHz for band class 3 JTACS,
1.25 MHz for all other band classes). Otherwise connection setup will fail.
"Offset to RF", "Forward Link Frequency" and "Reverse Link Frequency" are derived
values and are displayed for information.
The RF frequency settings can be changed in all main connection states. Changing the
RF frequency via this section causes an implicit channel handoff. Use the "Handoff"
dialog to perform a standard handoff (see

RF Level
"Carrier[0]" is the reference carrier whose "1xEV-DO Power" (= "Absolute Level") can
also be set under
.
The "Absolute Level"s of "Carrier[1]" and "Carrier[2]" are determined by their "Relative
Level"s (in dB) compared to "Carrier[0]".
The level difference is bounded to 20 dB and the allowed range is ultimately deter-
mined by the reference carrier's "Absolute Level" and the allowed channel power (-130
dBm to 0 dBm).

Pilot
A Pilot represents a carrier that is active on a sector. The pilot section allows to set up
the AN's carrier-to-sector mapping and to manage the AT's (multi-carrier) active set.
Currently only a single sector (S0) is supported and the reference carrier C0 is fixed
connected to this sector. By checking the appropriate "Active on AN" boxes, S0 can be
equipped with additional carriers (C1, C2). "Assigned to AT" adds active carriers to the
AT's active set, as communicated by the AN in its TrafficChannelAssignment mes-
sages. The read-only "Acquired by AT" column indicates whether an assigned carrier
is currently being used by the AT.
