●
The forward test applications (FTAP/FETAP/FMCTAP) provide quick and efficient
control of the forward operation for accurate parametric testing and enable Packet
Error Rate (PER) tests for RF connections at variable forward channel data rates.
●
The reverse test applications (RTAP/RETAP/RMCTAP) control the reverse link to
test parameters such as code domain power and waveform quality using all of the
available reverse data rates.
2.2.11 Access Probes
The AT transmits access probes to begin session negotiation, which may occur at
times other than the power on cycle (for example, after a session close). It also trans-
mits access probes to initiate a call. The structure of the access probes is shown
below:

2.2.12 Band Classes
The band classes for CDMA2000 and 1xEV-DO forward and reverse signals are
defined in specification 3GPP2 C.S0057-C. Each band class contains a number of car-
rier frequencies and corresponding channel numbers.
The tables below lists the supported band classes with the corresponding channel
numbers and the formulas for calculation of center frequencies from channel numbers.
