3.1.1.7 Turning the Instrument On and Off
To turn on the R&S AREG100A
1. Connect the instrument to the AC supply .
2. Turn on the main AC power switch at the rear panel of the R&S AREG100A (posi-
tion "I" (on)).
The instrument is supplied with AC power.
To start the R&S AREG100A
Starting the R&S AREG100A requires that it is connected and turned on .
► At the front panel, press the [On/Standby] key briefly.
The instrument boots the operating system and starts the instrument firmware.
After booting, the instrument is in the state before the last power off (standby or
ready), indicated by the color of the [On/Standby] key's LEDs:
● Green: the R&S
AREG100A is running and ready for operation.
All modules are power-supplied.
