The Option Module is not powered
or is not properly connected to the
drive.
•
Securely connect and ground the Option
Module to the drive by fully inserting it into the
drive port and tightening its two captive
screws to the recommended torque.
•
Apply power to the drive.
Flashing
Red
The Option Module has failed the
firmware test.
The Option Module is being flash
upgraded.
•
Clear faults in the Option Module.
•
Cycle power to the drive.
•
If cycling power does not correct the problem,
the Option Module parameter settings may
have been corrupted. Reset defaults and
reconfigure the Option Module.
•
If resetting defaults does not correct the
problem, flash the Option Module with the
latest firmware release.
Solid
Red
The Option Module has failed the
hardware test.
•
Cycle power to the drive.
•
Replace the Option Module.
Flashing
Green
The Option Module is operational,
but is not transferring I/O data.
•
Place the scanner in RUN mode.
•
Program the controller to recognize and
transmit I/O to the Option Module.
•
Configure the Option Module for the program
in the controller.
•
Normal behavior if no I/O is being transferred.
Solid
Green
The Option Module is operational
and transferring I/O data.
No action required.
