Chapter 4
Commissioning
The circuitry for the IGDPS is encapsulated in epoxy. As a result the module
cannot be field repaired and there are no test points or adjustments available on
this board. If one of the six isolated 20 V outputs fails, the entire board must be
replaced.
IGDPS Board LEDs
There is one green LED on each of the 6 output channels of IGDPS. If the
IGDPS is healthy, then all six LEDs will be illuminated. If any of the LEDs is not
ON, then the IGDPS might be defective and must be replaced.
Record the following measurements to ensure all 6 outputs in each IGDPS are
functioning. The output voltage should be within 20V ±1%. There may be more
than one IGDPS in the drive.
Commissioning the Cooling
System
The liquid cooling system is tested for leaks at the factory, but shipping damage
can create leaks in the liquid cooling system. All leaks must be repaired prior to
start up.

ATTENTION:
The E-Stop button on the drive does not interrupt the 3-phase
control power. E-Stop only opens the input contactor providing the Medium
Voltage on the drive input. This means that the cooling system will continue to
run.
