Minimum Distance from Reflective Surfaces
The infrared light that is transmitted from the two transceivers can be
reflected off shiny surfaces. If this condition occurs, it can result in an object
not being detected when it enters the GuardShield safety light curtain sensing
field.
All reflecting surfaces and objects (for example, material bins) must, therefore,
be at a minimum distance (A) from the protective sensing field of the system.
The minimum distance (A) depends on the distance (D) between the two
transceivers.

The minimum distance from the reflective surfaces can be determined as
follows:

Determine the distance D [m] between transmitter and receiver
