COMMISSIONING

Mounting the control

Power supply

Mount the controller on the wall, a support or on the

machine so that you can operate the keys without moving

the case. Optionally, you can purchase a suitable wall mount
bracket for the ELS Basic.

Then connect the power supply, pay attention to the correct

voltage (12V) and polarity. The voltage input is protected

against reverse polarity and fused.

Connection

Switch on

Connect the emergency stop circuit, the motor output
stages and the encoder to the rear terminals. Refer to the
previous chapters for details.

Switch on the ELS Basic at the power switch by pressing
the button for approx. 1 second. To switch it off, press the

button for approx. 2 seconds.
Running? Congratulations, now you can adjust and test the
system!
