TICKET DISPENSER SETTINGS
Especially useful for setting up card readers.
DIP switches
Pull-up for the motor drive input of the ticket dispensers. This affects the output signal from the game
system to the input of the dispenser.
Switch 1 and 2 OFF enables pull-up on the I/O board output to the motor enable for the ticket dispenser. Use
this setting if the ticket dispenser needs a pull-up on its motor drive input line.
Switch 1 and 2 ON
disables pull-up on the I/O board output to the motor enable for the ticket dispenser. Use
this setting if the ticket dispenser does not need a pull-up on its motor drive input line.
Polarity for the motor drive input of the ticket dispenser.
Switch 3 and 4 OFF
sets the output to “high” to turn the ticket motor on and “low” to turn the motor off for
the ticket dispenser.
(Technical note; sets output transistor to “off” (disconnecting output from ground) to enable motor.)
Switch 3 and 4 ON
sets the output to “low” to turn the ticket motor on and “high” to turn the motor off for
the ticket dispenser.
(Technical note; sets output transistor to “on” (connecting output to ground) to enable motor.)
