• Testing a Blood Sample

STAT tests

STAT tests are a limited number of tests that can be per-

formed in emergency situations, see page 71. If the meter

is configured to perform STAT tests, you have the option

of performing a test by choosing STAT even though a QC

Lockout is in place.

When a STAT test is performed, this information is stored

with the result. The number of STAT tests allowed is

reduced by 1. After all pending quality control tests are
