Bluetooth adaptor installation
‘Bluetooth pairing’ occurs when two Bluetooth enabled devices agree to establish
a connection and communicate with each other.
When a Bluetooth enabled device is in a ‘discoverable’ state other Bluetooth
devices can detect, pair with or connect to it.
Your Bluetooth adaptor will
fl
ash its Bluetooth indicator light when it is discoverable
or when it is trying to connect to a previously paired Bluetooth device. When
a device is paired with and connects to your adaptor, the Bluetooth indicator
light will remain lit.
1. Ensure that the Stream 93i radio is either in standby or disconnected from
the mains adaptor.
2. Remove any audio cable from the Auxiliary Input socket and any USB
memory device from the USB socket.
3. Carefully align the
USB connector
and
Auxiliary input connector
on the
Bluetooth adaptor with the USB socket and Auxiliary Input socket on the
back of your radio.
4. Push the adaptor towards the back of the radio so that both connections
are made at the same time, keeping the adaptor as straight as possible.
5. Ensure that the Bluetooth adaptor is
fi
tted snuggly to the rear casing of the
radio as in the illustration on the
fi
rst page.
Operating your Bluetooth adaptor
1. Ensure that the Bluetooth capability on your phone, tablet or PC is enabled.
You may need to refer to the user documentation for your device, since the

2. Switch your Stream 93i on and select the
Auxiliary input
mode (please refer
to the user guide provided with your Stream 93i).
3. Press and release the
