HYDRAULIC RAIL BENDER
•
Be aware of the dangers specific to use of the appliance in your area of work,
especially regarding:

People and obstacles,
−
Adherence to safety guidelines,
−
Work on neighbouring rails,
−
Safe application of all safety devices,
−
Fulfillment of all necessary safety measures relating to the area of operation.

Only use tools and equipment in good condition!
•
Spilt agents (oil, grease etc) should be cleared up immediately to prevent
hazards from slipping or fire. Keep materials for oil bonding and cleaning to
hand.
•
Repair minor defects immediately to avoid larger ones.
•
Before leaving the appliance the following checks should be performed:

Appliance has been switched off correctly
−
Tools and accessories are stored safely
7.10 Safety Principles
The appliance should only be operated by trained personnel!
Possible sources of danger should also be indicated on the appliance by warning
signs and/or captions.
7.11 Specific Dangers
The appliance must be switched off (engine 'off' if using an engine-driven hydraulic
power pack) before either adjustments or maintenance work is carried out and
should be secured against the possibility of starting up again accidentally or
inadvertently. All sources of energy (mechanical or hydraulic) must be switched off
and secured against the possibility of starting up again.
