HYDRAULIC RAIL BENDER
Air in the hydraulic system prevents the piston from staying retracted:
•
Position the rail bender horizontally.
•
Carefully pump the piston as far as possible (max. 110 mm).
Danger of tilting!
Make sure the device is always in a
stable position!
•
Schienen-Biegepresse senkrecht auf
eine ausreichend hohe Unterlage
stellen, so dass der Presskolben zur
Gänze in die Grundstellung (Kolben
ist eingefahren) gedrückt werden
kann, ohne dass die Schienen-
Biegepresse mit den Krallen den
Boden berührt.
•
Open the oil level fitting (1) and the
stop valve (2) by approx. one turn.

While the piston is pressed back fully
to its home position (see Fig. on the
right), air will escape.
•
Screw the oil level fitting (1) back in and shut the stop valve (2).
•
If necessary, repeat this process several times.
