89 • Turning on a SDM-6000 System

SD card is installed and, if installed, the amount of memory that is available 
(see “Available Memory in the SD Card” on page 108). Be sure that an SD 
card is installed so that test data and GX-6000 data logger data from 
automatically or manually initiated operations are saved. If you have a multi-
station system, the SD card only needs to be inserted into the master 
(leftmost) station’s SD card slot.

 7 . Install a GX-6000 in the instrument cradle. Orient the GX-6000 so the belt clip 

is facing away from the SDM-6000. Set the bottom of the GX-6000 in the 
bottom of the instrument cradle and push the top of the GX-6000 toward the 
SDM-6000. When the front face of the GX-6000 touches the back of the 
cradle, push the GX-6000 gently towards the back of the cradle to snap it in 
place.
