Appendix A: Maintenance Mode
OX-04 Operator’s Manual
Entering Maintenance Mode
WARNING: The OX-04 is not in operation as a gas detector while in Maintenance Mode.
1. Take the OX-04 to a non-hazardous location and turn it off if it is on.
2. Press and hold AIR, then press and hold POWER MODE. You will hear a beep after one
second. Continue to hold the buttons down.
3. When you hear a second beep, release the buttons.
ID DISP (page 86)

: User ID and Station ID screens appear in startup sequence. IDs can be
changed in Display Mode if

in User Mode is also set to

(factory setting): User ID and Station ID screens do not appear in startup
sequence. IDs cannot be changed in Display Mode.
