AirLink 9850 Gas Monitor Operator’s Manual

Chapter 3: Installation • 19

Ethernet Connection

The Ethernet port is used to view sensor information through a webpage interface. The AirLink 9850 
does not support Modbus TCP/IP.

1. Plug one end of a standard Ethernet cable into the AirLink 9850’s Ethernet port.

2. Plug the other end of the Ethernet cable into a network switch or into the Ethernet port on a 

Windows PC.

NOTE:

If you are plugging the Ethernet cable into an Ethernet port on a Windows PC, the computer’s 
WiFi must be turned off.
