Property damage due to components not being
replaced following collision!
Components of the linear unit that have not been
replaced following collision can cause property
damage if operation is continued.
– Replace the timing belt, guide shaft and rollers
after any collision, even if there is no visible
damage.
– Re-order components using the spare parts
lists:
– Spare parts list for the RK MonoLine R linear
– Spare parts list for the RK MonoLine Z linear
2.4 The operator’s responsibility
The operator is the person who operates the linear unit themselves
for commercial or economic purposes, or makes it available to a
third party for use/application and bears the legal product responsi-
bility for the protection of the user, staff or a third party during ope-
ration.
The linear unit is used in the commercial sector. The operator
therefore is subject to the legal obligations relating to occupational
health and safety.
Aside from the safety information contained in this manual, the
safety, occupational health and safety and environmental protec-
tion regulations applicable to the linear unit’s range of applications
must be adhered to.
The following particularly applies in this regard:

The operator must keep themselves informed of the applicable
occupational health and safety regulations and determine addi-
tional hazards which result from the special work conditions in
the linear unit’s place of use during a risk assessment. The
results must be implemented in the form of operating instruc-
tions.
n
The operator must verify during the linear unit’s operating time
whether the operating instructions they created comply with the
current regulations. If necessary, the operating instructions must
be adapted.
n
The operator must unambiguously regulate and specify the
responsibilities for assembly, operation, troubleshooting, mainte-
nance and cleaning.
