The performance of any machine can be no better than
the installation. The WHEEL-LOK
™
restraint requires
only normal application and installation skills.
WHEEL-LOK
™
restraints may be installed at dock
locations equipped with RITE-HITE
®
or other levelers.
Levelers can be either recessed in pits or mounted on
the top edge of the dock. A WHEEL-LOK
™
restraint can
be installed at docks without any leveler.
Take the time to review this manual and to become
familiar with all of the parts and assemblies of the
WHEEL-LOK
™
restraint before beginning installation
procedures.
WHEEL-LOK
™
POWER SOURCE
On occasion, the incoming electrical power for the
WHEEL-LOK
™
restraint is taken from a convenient
nearby electrical power source. Generally there is no
problem following this procedure; however, make sure
that the conductors supplying power to the
WHEEL-LOK
™
restraint control box have a capacity of
20/10 amps at 240/480 volts. The power source voltage
must be specified when ordering WHEEL-LOK
™
.
