3 ) Auto Screen Making:
When thi s checkbox i s checked, the original data tran s mitted from yo u r comp u ter to
the machine i s not p u t in the s creen-making q u e u e, b u t i s promptly proce ss ed for
s creen making. Be su re to remove the checkmark for normal us e. Screen making i s
exec u ted us ing the frame that ha s been s elected when the original data i s received.
4) Screening type:
Yo u can s elect a gradation expre ss ion method (half tone proce ss ing) for halftone
and color image s from the following two method s .
When [Screen-covered] i s s elected, the following parameter s can be s et.
• Screen frequency : The finene ss of dot s can be s et in the line s per inch.
Indicate s how many dot s are arranged in one inch / 25.4 mm.

3 8 to 200 line s
- Initial val u e: 3 8 line s
• Screen angle : The angle at which dot s are arranged can be s et. Adj us ted if
moire (interference pattern) occ u r s .
- Unit: degree
- Setting range:
0 to 90 degree s
- Initial val u e: 3 7 degree s
• Selecting [C us tom] di s play s the [C us tom] dialog box, where yo u can man u ally
enter the width and length of the original.
