SECURING HEADERS TO THE POST-TOP HEX ELBOWS

Locate the two 5/16” holes on the vertical faces of the U-channels holding the header. Drill 3/32” X 1-1/4” deep 

pilot holes at the center of eight 5/16” Holes. Four holes inside the pergola and four holes outside. Locate pilot 

holes at the center of each 5/16” hole.
