Press to cycle through:
(1) Normal, (2) Rock, (3) Jazz, (4) Classical, or (5) Ultra Bass
OR
Press and hold for 1.5 seconds to enter

SPEED SCAN
— Controls the speed at which you can scan
through directories. (1x, 2x, 4x, 6x)

BEEP control
— When enabled, pushing certain buttons will
produce audible beeps.
3.
EXT control
— Controls whether file extensions (MP3, WMA,
CD, & ASF) are displayed.
4.
TAG control
— Controls whether ID3 tag information is
displayed.
How to Start:
1. Unpack the RioVolt SP90 and all of its components.
2. Remove the
Battery Door
and insert
2 AA
Alkaline batteries
(included) and replace the
Battery Door
.
3. Plug the
Headphones
into the
Headphones Port
.
4. Slide the
Release Latch
to open the RioVolt.
5. Insert a music or digital audio CD into the RioVolt.
6. Snap lid shut.
7. Press and hold the
Play/Pause
button on the
Joypad
to turn the RioVolt SP90 on.
NOTE: If the RioVolt SP90 demonstrates no
activity, check the Hold Switch on the
RioVolt to make sure it is in the OFF
position.

Press once to access directories
on CD.
Press the
Joypad
to scroll through
directories and to make selections.

Create playlists of your favorite songs.
1. Press and hold the
Prog. Button
when CD is not in
play.
2. Press the

buttons to locate the
tracks you want in your playlist.
3. Press the
Prog. Button
to select each track.
4. Repeat Steps 2 and 3 until you have finished
selecting tracks.
5. Press
Play/Pause
to begin playing the
playlist of tracks.
6. Press
Stop
to stop playing the playlist
and to clear it from memory.
