RCV9813 LED Amber Light Bar
Instructions:
This LED Amber Light Bar is either single bolt or 4 fixing for permanent mounting. Before fixing make sure
you carefully measure to determine the desired position before drilling the hole/s.
Single Bolt -
The bolt is a M12x30 bolt and it is important to drill the correct sizes hole to avoid noise, or
damage to either the vehicle or the product. Also check carefully that no cables or interior fitting or fixing
would be affected by the installation of this product. Ring recommends using a suitable waterproof sealant
to ensure the roof is waterproof. It is also important to treat the holes drilled in the roof with a suitable
rust prevention solution.
Four Bolt –
if the desired fitment is four bolt you will need to remove the single bolt base. This is done by:
1.
Removing the four bolts which attached the base to the light unit.
2.
Remove the base by sliding it along the cable.
3.
Once the base has been removed install the foam feet into the correct position so the roof of the
vehicle is not damaged.
4.
Then insert the bolts with the short thread into the hole.
5.
Once all four bolts have been installed carefully measure and mark where the holes will be drilled.
An additional hole is required for the wiring. It is important to check that none of these holes will
damage any cables, interior fixings or fittings. Ring recommends using a suitable waterproof sealant
to ensure the roof is waterproof. It is also important to treat the holes drilled in the roof with a
suitable rust prevention solution.
