Replace the Adhesive Back Bumper 

Use this procedure to replace an adhesive back bumper in an 

Autostar II™, Protégé II™, Amigo II™, Producer 8100™, Producer 

8100N™

Rimage approved parts must be used for this process. The product warranty may become void if parts not approved by Rimage are 
used; equipment or parts are tampered with, misused, neglected, or modified in any respect without the written consent of Rimage.

 

The term “Producer” is used throughout this document to refer to the 

Autostar II™

Protégé II™

Amigo II™

Producer 8100™

Producer 8100N™

.

 

 

Note:

 Your system may not look exactly like the system pictured. 

 

Before you begin  

1.  Stop or pause all jobs. 
2.  Power off the 

external

 

control center

3.  Power off the 

Producer

4. Disconnect 

the 

power cord 

from the power outlet.

Required tools

:

 

 

99% Isopropyl Alcohol 

 

Soft, lint-free cloth 

 

Attach the Adhesive Back Bumper 

1. Open 

the 

front door

 of the Producer. 

2. Apply 

99%

 

isopropyl alcohol

 to a soft, lint-free cloth. 

3.  Clean the area on the Producer as shown. 

4.  Remove the backing from the 

adhesive

 

back 

bumper

5. Discard 

the 

backing

6.  Carefully place the 

adhesive

 

back bumper 

on the 

area of the frame that was cleaned with isopropyl 
alcohol. 

7. Press 

the 

adhesive

 

back bumper

 firmly to ensure 

that it is secure.  

 

 

Tip

: Verify that the dispenser tray does not touch 

the frame when it is in the upright position. 

8. Close 

the 

front door

The Producer is ready for use.
